Apple Returns 8 Million iPhones to Foxconn

A tipster, who happens to be a Foxconn employee, informed China Business that Apple has rejected between 5 and 8 million iPhone handsets “due to appearance of substandard or dysfunctional problems.”

The report suggests that Foxconn would have to spend as much as $1.6 billion to correct the issues with the problematic iPhones. The return of the said devices may result in a 2-to-3 week hole in Apple’s supply chain.

Maybe Apple should get a new manufacturing partner?
