iPad 5th Gen May Borrow Features From iPad mini

A photo of what looks to be the front panel of the upcoming 5th gen Apple iPad has surfaced, giving us a preview of what the upcoming tablet might look like. Based on the photo, the new iPad will sport many of the design characteristics of the iPad Mini, but on a larger scale. The edges aren’t as round as the current-gen iPad but the side bezel is much narrower. The usual Home button still appears to be there.

This photo of the alleged iPad 5th Gen front panel suggests that the production of the slate has already started. So, if everything goes as planned for Apple, we should see the iPad 5th Gen ready for primetime some time this autumn.
