Virtually Unkown Xolo Q1000S Gets Unveiled in India

This may be the first time you heard of Xolo but it is actually a smartphone brand very popular in India. Xolo has officially announced its newest flagship, the Q1000S smartphone. It comes with an elegant design and super slim at only 6.98 mm.

The Xolo Q1000S sports 5-inch 720p IPS display with OGS technology. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1GB RAM. It also has a 13-MP primary camera with BSI 2 sensor, 5-MP secondary camera, 16GB of internal memory and comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It comes with a 2,500 mAh battery which, according to the company, lasts for about 53 hours on music playback, up to 327 hours stand-by on 3G and 425 hours on 2G or up to 22.5 hours of 2G, 12.5 hours of 3G talk-time. These are actually more or less the specs of 2012's flagship smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC One X/X+.

Ultimately, it is another affordable smartphone where you get the most bang for your buck. It is priced at INR18,999 (about $300) and will be available in the coming weeks.
