The HTC One Max Arrives w/ Fingerprint Sensor

The rumored HTC phablet has finally arrived. Meet the HTC One Max, which builds on the HTC One flagship and adds more features. Among these features are the UltraPixel camera, a fingerprint scanner, HTC Zoe, Dual Capture, BlinkFeed, Sweep Panorama, and BoomSound, and a 5.9-inch display.

The HTC One Max packs a 1080p Full HD resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, along with 2GB RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The phablet will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the HTC Sense 5.5 UI on top. It will also be equipped with a 3,300 mAh battery.


The fingerprint sensor, which is built into the device, allows users to lock or unlock the device using a fingerprint. The fingerprint scanner also allows users to launch up to three of their favorite applications by signing an individual finger to each of those apps. The HTC One Max will roll out globally in mid-October. Pricing is not yet available at the moment.
