Qualcomm Releases Snapdragon Glance Beta Lock Screen App

Qualcomm has launched a new lock screen app called the Snapdragon Glance. It is an intelligent app that lets you to access a wide range of information from your phone's lock screen. It is still in beta version but will already allow you to view and access all important notifications. With it, you can also launch applications and contact people from your smartphone’s lock screen.


Once the application is installed, the customized lock screen appears when the display is turned on, similar to the Nokia Glance screen. If you wish to access your stock home screen, you can get out of it by using the back or home button. It is imperative thought that the BatteryGuru app be installed before you can get started with Glance. Also, the app will only work on smartphones powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.
