$100 for a tablet from a major brand may seem like a joke but it's not! HP just unveiled the HP 7 Plus, which is a 7-inch Android tablet that costs just $99.99. It may be too good to be true but it really offers the most bang for buck among branded 7-inch tablets.

The HP 7 Plus packs a Cortex A7 1.3GHz quad-core
CPU on an Allwinner Technology SoC. It also comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage (expandable via a microSD card slot). The display is a 7-inch IPS LCD variety with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. It is equipped with a 2-MP rear camera and 0.3-MP front-facing camera. Everything is powered by a 2,800 mAh Li-Po battery and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It's not very heavy either at 294 grams. Check out the promo video below:
