Android-Powered Vertu Signature Touch for the Elite

Luxury smartphone maker Vertu took the wraps off its latest creation, the Signature Touch. It is an Android KitKat device that packs high-end specs and insanely priced starting at £6,750 or $11,300. The Vertu Signature Touch is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with 2.3GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. It has a 4.7-inch 1080p FullHD display covered by sapphire glass.


As for imaging, the Signature Touch features a 13-MP camera with dual-LED flash, tuned by Hasselblad. There is also a 2.1-MP front-facing camera. Meanwhile, the smartphone’s audio is tuned by Bang & Olufsen. It is powered by a 2,275 mAh battery and supports Qi wireless charging. Vertu’s exclusive Concierge service is definitely on board.

The Signature Touch will be available to order June 2014. Each handset will be made and signed by a single craftsman in England. The choice of materials includes Grade 5 titanium and a slew of exotic leather options.
