Next is Microsoft's Lock Screen App for Android

Early this year, Nokia has unveiled an Android launcher called the Z Launcher. Now, even Microsoft has joined the bandwagon and has launched, not a launcher, but its own lock screen app for Android. Called Next, it is a lock screen app that takes back what Android Lollipop had removed from your lock screen: widgets. The Next lock screen app lets you do a lot of things like dial back with a simple swipe, scroll quickly through your calendar appointments, show missed calls and unread text messages count, or simply launch a preset app. Its lock screen wallpaper can be customized as well. Lastly, you can choose which set of app shortcuts you would like to appear on the lock screen: work apps, home apps, or on-the-go apps. Check out its promotional video below:
