ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite Launches in the Philippines

ASUS has launched another ZenFone smartphone, and this time it was first launched in the Philippines. It's called the ZenFone 5 Lite, a lower-end variant of the popular ZenFone 5. It comes with a 5-inch qHD touchscreen display (as opposed to the ZenFone 5's 720p HD display), an 8-MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 0.3-MP front-facing snapper. It measures 148.2mm x 72.8mm x 10.8mm and weighs 160 grams.

The ZenFone 5 Lite is powered by an Intel Atom Z2520 chipset with a 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM. Its memory is expandable as well via a microSD card slot. It comes with dual-SIM functionality, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and HSPA connectivity. It runs Android 4,4 KitKat with the ZenUI on top. It will come in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, and Cherry Red color variants and will retail for PhP5,595 or $124.
