Oppo R5 is the Thinnest Smartphone Yet

Oppo R5 has officially become the world's thinnest smartphone at just 4.85mm, beating the previous title-holder Gionee Elife S5.5. Despite its very slim body, the Oppo R5 is equipped with a 5.2-inch FullHD AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 423ppi. It will run on the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor with 2GB RAM. Imaging-wise, it is packed with a 13-MP Sony-made camera and a 5-MP selfie camera. It will be running on Android KitKat 4.4.4 with Color OS 2.0 on top. Surprisingly, it will still come with a decent 2,000mAh battery pack despite its slim waistline. VOOC rapid charging is supported too, recharging the smartphone to 75% full in just 30 minutes. The Oppo R5 will retail for $499 at OppoMart and other online stores.
