Microsoft Lumia 430: $70 Smartphone

Microsoft has officially announced the most affordable smartphone of its Lumia range: the Lumia 430. With a price tag of just $70, it is much cheaper than any other recently launched Lumia smartphone. To keep its cost low, Microsoft had to settle with an outdated 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset but the phone comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage space.

The Microsoft Lumia 430 packs a 4-inch LCD screen of 800 x 480 resolution. It has a 2-MP rear camera and a VGA-quality front-facing camera. It has a proximity sensor and has dual-SIM support too. It will be sold in India, the Middle East, Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus this April 2015. It would come in black and orange color variants. With its very affordable price tag, it will surely be a hit among entry-level smartphones.
