Joy Plus: The Cheapest Oppo Smartphone

Oppo has launched its cheapest Android smartphone in India - the Joy Plus. It comes with a 4-inch touchscreen LCD of 800 x 480 resolution. Ticking inside it is a MediaTek MT6572 SoC with dual-core 1.3GHz CPU, 1GB RAM and 4GB of expandable internal storage. There's also a 3-MP rear camera on board and another VGA-quality front-facing camera. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Oppo's Color OS on top. Everything will be powered by a 1,700 mAh battery.

As mentioned, it is the cheapest Oppo smartphone to date, costing only about $111 in India. While it may sound like a bargain, the Joy Plus' specs are no match with those offered by the competing Xiaomi Redmi 2 - that is in the same price range.
