Lumia 540 Dual-SIM for Wide-Angle Selfies

The Lumia 540 Dual-SIM is the most recent budget smartphone offering from Microsoft. It packs a 5-inch display of 720p HD resolution (294 ppi) but comes with a dated quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There's microSD card support too and up to 30GB of cloud storage from Microsoft OneDrive. It comes with a 2,200 mAh battery and, as its name implies, offers dual-SIM connectivity.

For an entry-level device, the Lumia 540 Dual-SIM packs an 8-MP rear camera with LED flash and auto-focus. There is also a 5-MP wide-angle selfie camera at the front. The smartphone runs Windows Phone 8.1 and is eligible for the Windows 10 update later this year. The handset will sell for just $149 and will be available in India, EMEA and the Asia-Pacific region this May 2015. It will be available in a handful of colors - cyan, orange, white and black.
