The 2015 Oppo Neo 5 & Neo 5S Smartphones
Oppo has launched the upgraded version of its original Neo 5 smartphone, along with a beefier Neo 5S. Both are entry-level to midrange devices in terms of specs. The Oppo Neo 5 comes with a 4.5-inch display of 480 x 854 resolution. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 SoC with Mali-400MP2 GPU, 1GB RAM, and 4GB of expandable internal storage. A 2,000 mAh battery keeps the smartphone's lights on. Sadly, there's no LTE support.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Neo 5S is better spec'd in some aspects. Despite having the same screen size, resolution, RAM, and battery capacity, the Neo 5S is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with Adreno 306 GPU. It also has 8GB of expandable internal memory instead of just 4GB. LTE connectivity is on board too. The Neo 5S also includes an eye protection system built into Oppo's own ColorOS, filtering out harmful rays that cause damage to your retinas.
