Huawei has unveiled its newest Honor 7 smartphone, which is wrapped in aluminum alloy and packs a 5.2-inch IPS LCD of 1080p Full HD resolution. It is powered by Huawei's home-brewed 64-bit Kirin 935 chipset with 3GB RAM and a Mali-T628 GPU. It will come in either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of native storage, expandable up to 128GB more via microSD card slot.

In the camera department, the Honor 7 sports a Sony-made 20-MP rear camera with dual-tone dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto-focus, 6-element lens and sapphire glass protection. Meanwhile, its front camera has an 8-MP resolution and wide-angle lens. Connectivity-wise, the Honor 7 features NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, GSM, WCDMA and LTE radios. For the Honor 7 dual-SIM variant, the second SIM card takes the place of the microSD card. A touch fingerprint sensor can also be found at the back of the smartphone.

All these features were packed in a 143.2 mm x 71.9 mm x 8.5 mm chassis, weighing about 157 grams. A 3,100 mAh battery will keep the smartphone's lights on and also supports quick charging. The Huawei Honor 7 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the Emotion UI 3.1 on top. This smartphone will hit Chinese shelves on July 7 in three color variants: gold, silver and dark gray. Pricing starts at $322 for the 16GB model and goes all the way up to $400 for the 64GB variant.
