ZTE has announced its latest smartphone, the V3, which comes in three editions: V3 Youth Edition, V3 Energy Edition, and V3 Extreme Edition. Regardless of which version you choose, the ZTE V3 comes with a metal body, 4G LTE connectivity, and packs a fingerprint sensor. It also packs a 5.5-inch display of 1080p Full HD resolution. Under its hood is a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. A 3,000 mAh non-removable battery powers the V3 handset.

Imaging-wise, the ZTE V3 comes with a 13-MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. A 2-MP front-facing camera can also be found on board. The phablet runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Nubia 3.0 UI on top. It also supports dual-SIM connectivity. However, the second SIM slot doubles as a microSD card slot as well.

Wondering what's the difference among the three editions? It's in their connectivity options and color options. The V3 Youth Edition comes with dual 4G LTE connectivity and will be offered only in Silver color. It will cost about $160. The V3 Energy and Extreme Editions will be offered in Gold color. The former will retail for $210 while the latter will sell for $240, since it will come with special accessories.
