The Xperia C5 Ultra is a midrange phablet released by Sony, which features a 13-MP selfie camera and an almost bezel-less design. For starters, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra comes with a 6-inch IPS LCD of 1080p Full HD resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chipset with a Mali 760 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of expandable internal storage. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the Xperia UI on top. There is a nifty feature called Mini Mode, which shrinks down the UI to 4 inches for easier single-handed use.

In terms of imaging, the Xperia C5 Ultra has a 13-MP primary camera with an Exmor RS sensor, auto-focus, and an LED flash. It has a focal length of 25 mm and an 80-degree field of view. Being a marketed as a selfie-centric phablet, the Xperia C5 Ultra also comes with a 13-MP front-facing snapper, which features an Exmor RS sensor, auto-focus, a 22 mm focal length, and an 88-degree field of view. There is also a soft LED flash in front for added illumination. Connectivity-wise, the Xperia C5 Ultra will come in single SIM and dual-SIM variant and features LTE connectivity.

Despite its slender 8.2 mm profile, Sony was able to fit a 2,930 mAh battery inside the phablet, which is quite modest for its size. Sadly, the Xperia C5 Ultra does not have water resistance features nor stereo speakers. It will be available in Black, White, and Mint Green color options.
