Xiaomi Redmi Pro Packs Dual Cameras

The aluminum-clad Redmi Pro just got launched in China and it is Xiaomi's first smartphone with a dual camera setup. There's a 13-MP Sony-made primary camera with phase detection auto-focus and dual-tone, dual-LED flash, and another 5-MP Samsung-made camera that analyzes depth of field for post processing. It also has a 5-MP front-facing snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.

The rest of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro's specs include a 5.5-inch AMOLED display of 1080p Full HD resolution. It is powered by a deca-core Helio X25/X20 chipset with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage. Connectivity-wise, it comes with LTE, dual-SIM card configuration, USB Type-C, an IR blaster, and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. Despite its slim 8.15 body, a large 4,050 mAh battery can be found inside the device. It runs on the latest MIUI, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Redmi Pro will start shipping on August 6, 2016 in China and will retail for $225 for its base model. The most expensive variant goes all the way up to $299, which is still pretty affordable. Are you getting one?
