New Android devices have been introduced by Alcatel at IFA 2016. These include the SHINE Lite, XL and a couple of POP 4 tablets. The Alcatel SHINE Lite is made out of metal and glass, and marketed as a device with a premium design at a competitive price. Specs-wise, it has a 5-inch IPS display of 720p HD resolution. It has a 13-MP main camera with dual-tone, dual-LED flash and a 5-MP secondary shooter with its own LED flash. A fingerprint scanner can also be found at the back of the SHINE Lite. It will be available in black, white and gold color options and will retail for 199 Euros.

Along with the SHINE Lite smartphone, two Alcatel POP 4 tablets have been announced. There are 7-inch and 10-inch versions of the said tablet. The former is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8735 chipset while the latter packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. Lastly, we have the Alcatel XL, which is a 6-inch phablet with a 1080p Full HD display resolution. Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, the XL also comes a 13-MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-MP selfie camera. Like the SHINE Lite, it also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. A 3,500 mAh battery will keep its lights on. Both the POP 4 tablets and the XL support LTE connectivity and will retail in mid-October 2016 across the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
