Archos 50 & 55 Graphite w/ Dual-Lens Cameras

Archos unveils two new budget smartphones ahead of MWC 2017. Meet the affordable 50 Graphite and 55 Graphite, which will sell starting at €130. Both smartphones share a lot in common and differ only in screen size, display resolution, battery capacity, and RAM. The Archos 55 Graphite comes with a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display of 1080p Full HD resolution while the Archos 50 Graphite only packs a 5-inch 2.5 curved glass IPS display of 720p HD resolution. Both devices are powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 16GB of expandable storage. The 55 Graphite has 2GB RAM while the 50 Graphite makes do with only 1GB. Both run stock Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Not too common on budget smartphones, both Archos devices pack dual-lens cameras, one 13-MP lens with auto-focus and LED flash and another 2-MP ultra-wide-angle lens for depth of field effect (bokeh). Both smartphones also sport a 5-MP selfie camera. Connectivity-wise, both smartphones come with LTE and dual-SIM support, a USB Type-C port, and rear-mounted fingerprint scanners. The 50 Graphite is powered by a 2,400 mAh battery while the 55 Graphite comes with a larger 3,000 mAh battery. Both smartphones will go on sale in June 2017. Any takers?
