New Sony Xperia L1 Runs Android Nougat

Sony unveiled a new L series smartphone called the Xperia L1, which has nothing to do with the 2013 Xperia L. The Sony Xperia L1 is an elegant looking device, with narrow side bezels, that packs a 5.5-inch LCD of 720p HD resolution. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with a paltry 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. Good thing, it runs Android Nougat out of the box. Imaging-wise, the Xperia L1 packs a 13-MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, auto-focus, and LED flesh, and a 5-MP front-facing shooter with a 24 mm wide-angle lens. A relatively modest 2,620 mAh battery, with STAMINA mode, will keep its lights on. The smartphone also supports LTE, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and dual-SIM connectivity. To be available in white, black, and pink color variants, the Xperia L1 will hit select markets in late April 2017. Given its specifications, it is expected to be an affordable offering from Sony.
