HTC First Facebook Phone Goes Official
Facebook and HTC have teamed up to show off the first Facebook phone. This is another first from the Taiwanese smartphone maker, HTC. The HTC First Facebook Phone brings the full Facebook
software experience in an Android-based user interface called
“Facebook Home”. It is basically a mid-range device that will be offered in a variety of colors.

The HTC First features a
4.3-inch LCD display with a 720p HD resolution and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor. The smartphone is equipped with a 5-MP rear shooter and a 1.6-MP front camera for Facebook video chat. It has 1GB RAM and a brand new user interface loosely based on HTC Sense 4.5. It runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 out-of-the-box.

The HTC First will come with 3G/4G “multimode” LTE and will
be available on the 12th of April for $99 attached to a 2-year
contract (AT&T).
