Specs and Features of the Moto X Smartphone Leak

The Moto X has not even been officially announced nor confirmed yet but we've been seeing some of its neat features. Thanks to leaks, of course. Since the launch of the Nokia Lumia 1020, Motorola has been doing a lot of guerrilla marketing for its upcoming Moto X smartphone. Some of the new stuff include:

Open Mic - an always-on mic for voice commands, similar to Google Glass;
Active Updates - part of the screen auto wakes up to show notifications and the clock in standby;
Camera is launched by twisting your wrist twice;
No on-screen shutter key, you just touch anywhere on the viewfinder and the camera takes a picture
Holding your finger for longer on the screen makes the camera quickly take several snaps in succession;
The Moto X will launch (in Canada at least) as early as August in both black and white variants;
The LTE capabilities;
The semi-transparent on-screen navigation keys.

There's also a side slot for a SIM card, so the battery would probably be non-removable on this one. Here is Rogers Canada's advertisement for the Moto X smartphone:

Motorola Mobility also recently used its Twitter account as a teaser for the upcoming Moto X smartphone.

UPDATE: Preliminary specifications of the Moto X smartphone leaked as well. Here they are: a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960DT, with a 1.7GHz dual-core CPU and Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM, 4.7-inch, 720p HD display, 10.5-MP rear camera, 2.1-MP front camera, 16GB internal memory (12GB user accessible) and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The said smartphone will be released on August 1, 2013.
