Restaurant Review: Wildflour Cafe + Bakery

Wildflour Cafe + Bakery is an American-inspired restaurant located in the upscale Bonifacio Global City. It rose to fame because of its cronuts, which are said to be first of its kind in the country. Cronuts, or croughnuts, are a hybrid of a croissant and a doughnut. Cronuts are as yummy as a croissant and as flavorful as doughnuts.

The cafe has somewhat limited space so there's a big chance you won't get seated during lunch and dinner time. You may choose to sit inside or outside the cafe. There's not much going on when it comes to the interiors and design. It's just glass and wood and decors. The place is well-lit and air-conditioned. They have their own restroom as well, albeit common for both males and females. They have a lot of crew as well who are all over the place especially on peak hours.

We did not order a lot, just cronuts and some other pastries. It takes about 10-15 minutes for the food to be served. The serving size is just enough. All those who dine-in are allotted a cronut each. If you want more, you'll have to fall in line. They serve cronuts at 9:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm, and 4:30pm. These cronuts get sold out in about 30 minutes. Each buyer is limited to buying a maximum of only 6 cronuts but they can buy other pastries, which taste good as well. Speaking of these coveted cronuts, they taste so good. No wonder they are really famous. The crispness of the croissant meets the sweetness of a doughnut flavor like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry. The prices are quite steep. Regular cronuts cost PhP120 each while the premium offerings such as dulce de leche and tiramisu cost PhP150 each. Main courses are more expensive starting at PhP495.

Wildflour Cafe + Bakery takes reservations, accept walk-ins, and take-outs. They are usually open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm but that depends on that day. This cafe is perfect for family gatherings and special occasions. Budget needed is about PhP500-1,000. Parking is available in nearby establishments.
