Huawei TalkBand B1: Smartband-Wireless Headset Hybrid

Perhaps 2014 is really the year of the smart wearables. At the MWC, Huawei took the wraps off the TalkBand B1, which is a smartband, smartwatch, Bluetooth headset hybrid. Hidden inside the TalkBand B1 is a removable earpiece that supports wireless calling. It has a 1.4-inch flexible OLED display, a 90mAh battery, and is about 14.6mm thick.

The Huawei TalkBand B1 has a built-in pedometer and calorie counter. It is also a sleep pattern monitor, so you can use the smart alarm function to wake you up at the optimal time. NFC is used for pairing with smartphones and its 90mAh battery promises six days worth of usage (but takes two hours to charge up). It will cost 99 euros and will be available in China next month and in Japan, the Middle East, Russia, and Western Europe in Q2 of 2014.
