Lumia 630 and Lumia 635: Budget Windows Phone 8.1 Smartphones

The Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 just got unveiled. With these two budget smartphones, Nokia promises a fast, uncompromised Windows Phone 8.1 experience with 3G or 4G connectivity and single or dual-SIM option.


Both smartphones feature a 4.5-inch FWVGA ClearBlack IPS LCD protected by Gorilla Glass 3, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. There is also a 5-MP primary camera on-board (although no LED flash and front-facing camera). Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity come standard.

The Lumia 635 and Lumia 630 also offer a faster social experience with the Word Flow keyboard and social apps like WhatsApp and WeChat, plus Nokia Camera, maps and navigation from HERE, and free Nokia MixRadio streaming, which all deliver a wealth of value, without costing you a penny.

The Nokia Lumia 630 will roll out in May 2014, beginning with Asia, Russia, China, India, and Europe, from $159 for the single SIM variant, and $169 for the dual-SIM variant. The LTE-capable Lumia 635 will be available worldwide starting July 2014 from $189.
