Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact: Ultra-Slim 8-inch Tablet
Along with the launch of the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact at IFA 2014, Sony also unveiled the world's thinnest, lightest, and most waterproof 8-inch tablet available in the market today. Meet the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. It is the first Sony tablet to sport an 8-inch TRILUMINOS display of 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB RAM. It has 16GB of built-in storage but has a microSD slot for storage expansion at up to 128GB.

The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is also the thinnest tablet in its class at 6.4mm thin. Despite its thinness, it has an IP58/68 certification for dust and water resistance. At the back is an 8-MP Exmor RS sensor while a 2-MP selfie camera can be found on front. Sony has also equipped it with stereo speakers and a new DSEE HX technology that upscales regular tunes to higher-resolution audio quality.

Everything will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery that is said to last for 2 days of regular use.
