The Tizen-Powered Samsung Gear S Smartwatch
Samsung officially announced the Gear S smartwatch, which makes it the sixth smartwatch to carry the Gear branding. Like its predecessors, the Gear S is Tizen-based, instead of Android Wear or just Android. It is arguably the best looking Gear smartwatch to date. What makes it different from the bunch is its 3G connectivity. It features a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels.
