Acer Liquid Z500 to Offer CD Quality Audio

Acer has unveiled the Liquid Z500 smartphone. It is an Android smartphone that promises to offer CD quality audio experience, supporting 16-bit, 44KHz FLAC and WAV playback, and featuring advanced HD stereo speakers with DTS Studio Sound. The Acer Liquid Z500 sports a 5-inch IPS display with 720p HD display and high contrast (900:1).

At the back is an 8-MP auto-focus camera with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It comes with Acer's Bright Magic technology that should improve photos taken in low light conditions. It is 8.65mm thin and runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Acer's proprietary UI on top. It is now available in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. It is expected to be priced €149 ($195) and will be available in three color variants: Titanium Black, Aquamarine Green, and Sandy Silver.
