Restaurant Review: Rustic Mornings by Isabelo

Rustic Mornings by Isabelo is a rustic-style restaurant surrounded by decades-old trees, sprawling vines, and a garden. It has a cozy feel to it, thanks to intricate designs on the ceiling and its walls. It actually looks like a country home converted into a homey restaurant. Inside the restaurant, one will see mementos and antiques from the owner's family. There are also empty bottles of designer perfumes scattered inside.

The entire restaurant (including the tables and chairs outside) is quite spacious, which can probably accommodate about 100 individuals. Inside, it is air-conditioned and outside, you can feel the cool breeze, thanks to the trees surrounding the place. The restaurant looks old, including its furnishings, but this is actually where it gets its appeal. They have several servers who are very attentive to the needs of their customers.

Creamy Chicken Fricasse + Beef Ribs

With garlic rice and pinoy burritto
We ordered lunch bowls, which is said to be good for at least 2 persons. We got some creamy chicken fricasse, beef ribs, and pinoy burritto, plus some garlic rice. For the drinks, we ordered some house blend iced tea and a drink called tropical blend, which is actually a concoction of papaya, pineapple, orange, and mango. Their food is good. The creamy chicken fricasse is probably their version of chicken pastel while the beef ribs is their version of mechado. The pinoy burritto, while oily, is so delicious. Their house blend iced tea, which can be availed bottomless, is similar to Army Navy's Libertea. Waiting time for food orders is about 20 minutes but can vary depending on what you order. The serving size is just right and the food, in general, is kinda heavy on the tummy.

Tropical Blend (Papaya + Pineapple + Orange + Mango)
Rustic Mornings by Isabelo is perfect for families and group of friends who like to chill and eat sumptuous food. Budget needed is about PhP300 per person on average. They accept cash and credit card transactions. They are open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. They accept reservations, walk-ins, deliveries, caterings, and take-outs. The restaurant can actually be a great venue for weddings, debuts, birthdays, and other intimate celebrations. And yes, there is a parking area inside their compound. Valet is available as well.
