BLU Introduces 3 Studio LTE Series Smartphones

BLU just launched a trio of Studio smartphones with LTE connectivity. These include the Studio 6.0 LTE, Studio 5.0 HD LTE, and Studio Mini LTE. All three BLU devices are available on Amazon, contract-free for $279, $199, and $199 respectively.

The Studio 6.0 LTE is the most high-end of the three devices. It packs a 6-inch IPS Full HD display with a pixel density of 370 ppi. It is powered by a Qualcomm 8928 Snapdragon 400 SoC with a 1.6GHz Quad-Core processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card slot. It also comes with a 13-MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash, capable of Full HD video recording, and a 5-MP front-facing camera. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, and LTE connectivity. It measures 163.5 mm x 81.4 mm x 9.15 mm and is equipped with Li-Ion 3,200 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

From phablet, we move down to a more pocketable yet feature-rich smartphone called the Studio 5.0 HD LTE. It packs a 5-inch IPS HD display with a pixel density of 300 ppi. It is powered by a  Qualcomm 8926 Snapdragon 400 SoC with a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card slot. Imaging-wise, it shares the 13-MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash, capable of Full HD video recording, and a 5-MP front-facing camera of the Studio 6.0 LTE. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, and LTE connectivity. It measures 145.7 mm x 72 mm x 9 mm and is equipped with Li-Ion 2,200 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

The smallest of the bunch is the Studio Mini LTE. It packs a 4.5-inch IPS display of 480 x 854 resolution, resulting in a pixel density of 218 ppi. It is powered by a  Qualcomm 8926 Snapdragon 400 SoC with a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM, and 4GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card slot. Imaging-wise, it has a 5-MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash, capable of Full HD video recording, and a 0.3-MP front-facing camera. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, and LTE connectivity. It measures 137.1 mm x 67.4 mm x 10 mm and is equipped with Li-Ion 1,850 mAh battery. It runs an outdated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box but is said to be upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
