Lenovo A1900: The $60 Android Smartphone

The Lenovo A1900 is a new entry-level Android smartphone from the Chinese electronics company that's set to retail at just $60. For its very affordable price, you get a 4-inch IPS panel of 800 x 480 pixel resolution. That translates to a decent 233 ppi. The A1900 is powered by a Spreadtrum SC7730 chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and a Mali-400 GPU. There's 4GB of built-in memory expandable via microSD. The only letdown would be its 512MB RAM but at this price point, you should not be complaining.

Connectivity features include dual-SIM compatibility, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and FM radio. A 1,500 mAh battery is fitted inside its 121 mm x 62 mm x 9.5 mm body. The smartphone weighs just 117 grams. Oh, it has a rear facing camera too. The Lenovo A1900 is perfect for those would like to try Android for the first time. While it's dirt cheap, this Lenovo smartphone will unlikely make it outside of China.
