Oppo A31 is a new midrange Android smartphone bound for China. It features a dual-glass panel and a metallic frame normally seen in high end smartphones but surprisingly, it costs just $160. So, what's the catch?

The Oppo smartphone packs a 4.5-inch display of a disappointing 480 x 854 pixel resolution. It has a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with 1GB RAM and 8 GB of expandable internal storage. It will run Android 4.4. KitKat out of the box with Oppo's Color OS on top.

In the camera department, it comes with an 8-MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. There's also a 5-MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The Oppo A31 also has dual-SIM support and LTE connectivity. It also packs a modest 2,000 mAh battery.
