Intel-Powered Dell Venue 10 7000 Android Tablet
Dell has announced a new high end Android tablet called the Venue 10 7000, which is aimed at business users. It is similar to the Venue 8 7000 in some way but has a bigger screen and some upgraded specs. To start, the Dell Venue 10 7000 packs a 10.5-inch AMOLED display with 1,600 x 2,560 pixel resolution. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3580 SoC with 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB of expandable internal storage. Imaging-wise, it has an 8-MP primary camera and a 2-MP front-facing shooter. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

What's interesting about this new Dell tablet is that it comes with a cylindrical bulge that rests at the bottom (when in landscape mode). This is where Dell placed the tablet's 7,000 mAh battery as well as a pair of stereo speakers. In fact, if not for the Dell logo, you might mistake it for a Lenovo Yoga tablet. An optional docking station, with a trackpad and back-lit keyboard, can also be paired with the Venue 10 7000 to make it a full-blown notebook but it will set you back $130.

Priced starting at $499, the Dell Venue 10 7000 is definitely expensive but is actually one of the few Android-powered tablets aimed at businessmen. It will be available in the US, Canada, and China in May 2015.
