Samsung Galaxy Tab A: Beautiful Yet Expensive
Galaxy Tab A is the latest series of Android Lollipop-running tablets from Samsung. Expected to replace the Galaxy Tab 4 series, the Galaxy Tab A range comes in two sizes: 8-inch and 9.7-inch. Regardless of the screen size, the Galaxy Tab A range looks beautiful. Unfortunately, it is overpriced considering its middling specs.

Both Galaxy Tab A models come with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and a screen aspect ratio of 4:3. Both will also be powered by an entry-level quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 chipset, 2GB RAM for the LTE variant (1.5GB RAM for the Wi-Fi only variant), and 16GB of expandable internal storage. In the camera department, both will feature a 5-MP rear-facing shooter and a 2-MP selfie camera. The battery capacity for the 8-inch model is 4,200 mAh while the 9.7-inch model has a beefier 6,000 mAh unit.

The base model for the 8-inch Galaxy Tab A will set you back €275 and could go up to €340 for its LTE variant. Meanwhile, the base model for the 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab A starts at €299 and could go up to €349.
Both Galaxy Tab A variants will be available in Black and White paint jobs. In addition, there is a possibility that a Galaxy Tab A model with S-Pen support will be launched in May 2015.
