Windows 8.1-Powered Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet
Dell recently unveiled the Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet, which is designed for users that demand performance and reliability in the worst of conditions. The Rugged Tablet can withstand water spills, sand, dust, extreme temperatures, and accidental drops.

The Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet packs an 11.6-inch Direct-View outdoor-readable display of 1,366 x 768 (HD) pixel resolution. The touchscreen also works with gloves. Under its hood is a fifth generation Intel Core M processor with QuadCool thermal management system and 512GB of SSD storage. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It runs Windows 8.1 and promises up to 12 hours of battery life. A range of accessories like keyboard covers and docks are available for the Rugged Tablet.

It is marketed by Dell as the perfect device for the military, industrial work, adventurers and emergency response crews. Expect the price of the Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet to be north of $3,000.
