The story goes like this:  Hoping to bring his family closer together and to recreate his childhood vacation for his own kids, an adult Rusty Griswold takes his wife and two sons on a cross-country road trip to Walley World. Needless to say, things don't go quite as planned.

Vacation is of comedy and adventure genre, which runs for approximately 99 minutes. It's rated R-18 in most countries for crude and sexual content and language throughout, and brief graphic nudity. I wasn't expecting much when I decided to see this movie. I had high hopes though for Christina Applegate and Leslie Mann as comediennes. Yes, the movie had a lot of funny scenes but the acting of most of the cast was awkward. The storyline lacked depth and many of the scenes lacked sense. Nevertheless, it was entertaining. Chris Hemsworth showed a lot in the film. Be sure to wait for the credits section. Overall, the movie was funny but easily forgettable.
