Gionee S5.1 Pro Offers AMOLED Display

The Gionee S5.1 Pro goes official in China. It packs a 5-inch AMOLED display of 720p HD resolution, protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4. It runs on a MediaTek MT6753 chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. In the camera department, the S5.1 Pro comes with a 13-MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8-MP front-facing snapper. Its connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual-SIM and LTE support.

The Gionee S5.1 Pro comes with a dual glass design attached to a metal frame. It is 6.35 mm thin and weighs just 129 grams. A 2,400 mAh battery keeps its lights on. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out for the box skinned with the Amigo 3.0 OS. It will be offered only in white and will cost $300.
