The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 & Yoga Tab 3 Pro
Along with the new Vibe smartphones, Lenovo also took the wraps off three Yoga tablets, which include the Yoga Tab 3 Pro, Yoga Tab 3 8" and Yoga Tab 3 10". The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is the most capable of the bunch. It's build with metal, aluminum and leather and features a built-in Pico projector, situated on the tablet's kickstand, that has digital focus and gesture controls. It is also IP21 certified, meaning it can withstand accidental splashes. It also has front-facing speakers with support for Dolby Atmos 3D Surround Sound technology.
The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro packs a 10.1-inch IPS display with a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, which results in a pixel density of 299 pixels per inch. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8500 chipset. A 13-MP rear camera is on board together with a 5-MP front-facing shooter. An extremely large 10,200 mAh battery will keep the tablet's lights on. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Vibe UI atop. It will have both Wi-Fi only and LTE variants, starting at $499.
Then we have the entry-level Yoga Tab 3 8" and Yoga Tab 3 10". Both tablets feature Lenovo's signature foldable stand along with the new hanger hole to easily prop the tablets up in any manner. Like the Yoga Tab 3 Pro, both tablets also come with front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos 3D Surround Sound technology. Both also have a single 8-MP camera that can be rotated front and back. The only differences the two tablets have are the size of the display (8-inch for the Yoga Tab 3 8" and 10-inch for the Yoga Tab 3 10") and battery capacity (6,200 mAh for the Yoga Tab 3 8" and 8,400 mAh for the Yoga Tab 3 10"). Both will have an HD display (800 x 1,280), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, 1GB RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage, and LTE connectivity. Pricing starts at $169 for the Wi-Fi only variant of the Yoga Tab 3 8" and goes up to $249 for the LTE-capable Yoga Tab 3 10".
