LG Releases G Pad III 8.0 w/ Full Size USB Port

LG recently recently released the G Pad III 8.0 in Canada and South Korea. It brings several improvements when compared to its predecessor, the G Pad II 8.0. For one, the LG G Pad III 8.0 packs an 8-inch display of a higher 1,200 x 1,920 pixel resolution, It is also armed with a more powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. Android 6.0 Marshmallow with LG's own UI is running the show.

In terms of imaging, the G Pad III 8.0 comes with a 5-MP camera and another 5-MP front-facing shooter. Connectivity-wise, LTE is supported and the tablet comes with a full-size USB Port, where you can plug your typical USB flash drive. A 4,800 mAh battery is tucked inside its 210.7 mm x 124.1 mm x 7.9 mm body. The tablet weighs 309 grams. Retailing for about $184 off-contract, it may actually be a good tablet to buy.
