Samsung Z2: First Tizen-Powered 4G Smartphone

Samsung has finally unveiled its first 4G-capable Tizen smartphone, which is the Z2. First launched in India, the Samsung Z2 is the third commercially available Tizen-powered smartphone. It packs a 4-inch AMOLED display of 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Ticking inside is a quad-core Spreadtrum processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. Connectivity-wise, aside from 4G LTE support, the Samsung Z2 will come with dual-SIM support, Ultra Data Saving Mode, and S Bike Mode. It will also come pre-loaded with the My Money Transfer application, which lets you easily transfer money from one bank account to another.

When it comes to photography, the Samsung Z2 sports a 5-MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA quality front-facing shooter. A 1,500 mAh battery, with Ultra Power Saving Mode, will keep its lights on. It runs Tizen 2.4 out of the box and it will be available in red, gold, and black color options. With a price tag of just $68, the Samsung Z2 will start shipping on August 29, 2016 in Samsung retail stores, online stores, and PayTM.
