Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) Launches in Korea

Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) just got official in South Korea. Clad in metal, it has a large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display of 1080p Full HD resolution. Ticking inside is last year's flagship processor, the octa-core Exynos 7420. It also comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. When it comes to photography, the Galaxy A8 (2016) sports a 16-MP primary camera with LED flash and an 8-MP front-facing shooter.

As for connectivity, the Galaxy A8 (2016) has everything from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE to a Samsung Pay-capable fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. A relatively small 3,300 mAh battery will keep its lights on. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with the new Grace UX on top. To be available starting October 1, 2016, the Galaxy A8 (2016) will retail for a steep price of $580. There is no information yet on global availability.
