The Xiaomi Mi 5s & Mi 5s Plus

Xiaomi has unveiled two new flagship devices: the Mi 5s and the Mi 5s Plus. Both devices pack a 1080p Full HD display with 600 nits of brightness. The screen of the Xiaomi Mi 5s is 5.15 inches while the Mi 5s Plus has a 5.7-inch display. Both are powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with 4GB RAM (Mi 5s/Mi 5s Plus)/6GB RAM (Mi 5s Plus) and 64GB/128GB of non-expandable internal storage. Both smartphones also employ a pressure-sensitive display, which uses Synaptics touch drivers and distinguishes light taps from a harder press. Specific to the Mi 5s, it has Qualcomm's Sense ID ultrasonic fingerprint sensing technology, which uses ultrasonic waves to detect fingerprints even when your finger is wet or dirty. It is embedded in the glass display. Meanwhile, the Mi 5s Plus comes with a traditional rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In terms of connectivity, both smartphones utilize USB Type-C, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, along with LTE-A, DLNA, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, dual-SIM support and Bluetooth.
