OnePlus 3T to Pack Snapdragon 821 Chipset

An upgraded version of the OnePlus 3 has been unveiled. Called the OnePlus 3T, the phablet is now powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. It has 6GB RAM and is available in 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.0 internal storage. The OnePlus 3T still packs a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display of 1080p Full HD resolution. Imaging-wise, the OnePlus 3T has the same 16-MP Sony IMX 298 sensor found on the OnePlus 3 but its selfie camera has received an upgrade. The front-facing shooter now has a 16-MP sensor with phase detection auto-focus.

Another upgrade to the OnePlus 3T is the larger 3,400 mAh battery with Dash Charge support. Unfortunately, the OnePlus 3T still runs a version of the Oxygen OS based on Android Marshmallow but an Android 7.0 Nougat update is said to be on the way. Still available in silver and soft gold color options, a new gunmetal color has been unveiled. To be available on November 22, 2016, the OnePlus 3T will cost $439 for the 64GB model and $479 for the 128GB variant.
