Meet the Mid-range BlackBerry Q5 Smartphone
BlackBerry has just announced the BlackBerry Q5, which is a QWERTY
device for emerging markets, as opposed to the high-end BlackBerry Q10. It has a 3.1-inch touchscreen of HD resolution and BlackBerry's classic physical QWERTY keyboard.

The BlackBerry Q5 will run on BB OS 10 powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor of Snapdragon variety. As for imaging, the Q5 reps a
2-MP front-facer and 5-MP rear camera. The device harbors
8GB of internal memory and has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Like the higher-end Q10, the Q5 also features a similar
2,100 mAh battery. It will be available in selected markets in Europe,
the Middle East, Africa, Asia (including the Asia Pacific region), and
Latin America, with availability beginning in July. The smartphone will
be offered in black, white, red and pink.
