Samsung Launches 7-inch Galaxy W Smartphone
Samsung has launched its largest smartphone to date, the 7-inch Galaxy W. Yes, it is being marketed by Samsung as a smartphone, not as a tablet. The Galaxy W is definitely bigger than the Galaxy Mega 6.3 and also bigger than Sony's Xperia Z Ultra, which used to be largest smartphone available.

The Galaxy W may look like a Galaxy Tab but it has thinner bezels. It looks more like an upsized version of the Galaxy Mega. It has a display resolution of 1280 x 720, which is quite a stretch. It comes with a quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage with microSD card support. It also packs an 8-MP rear camera and a 2-MP front-facing one. The battery is rated at 3,200mAh and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, instead of Android 4.4 KitKat. The Galaxy W will be available in black, white, and red color options and costs $487 in Korea.
What are your thoughts on this insanely large smartphone?
