HTC One M8s Launched w/ Snapdragon 615

Within a month of the One M9 and One E9+'s announcement, HTC seems to have backtracked and subsequently released the One M8s. This new smartphone is basically identical to the One M8 sans the latter's UltraPixel rear camera and Snapdragon 801 chipset. Instead, the HTC One M8s comes with a more capable 13-MP f/2.0 main camera with dual rear camera setup and a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset. Its battery capacity has also been slightly increased to 2,840 mAh.

Other than those mentioned above, the HTC One M8s measures and weighs almost exactly the same as the One M8: 146.36 mm x 70.6 mm x 9.55 mm and 160 grams. It also comes with the same 5-inch IPS LCD of 1080p Full HD resolution. There's 2GB RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage and a 5-MP front-facing camera. It ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense on top. The One M8s is expected to arrive in Europe for the price of £379.99 off-contract, which makes it more affordable than the One M9 and One E9+.
