ZTE Took the Wraps Off Blade V8 Mini & V8 Lite

At this year's MWC, ZTE announced a couple of midrange smartphones: the Blade V8 Mini and the Blade V8 Lite. The ZTE Blade V8 Mini features a 5-inch IPS LCD of 720p HD resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset with Adreno 505 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. For a budget device, the Blade V8 Mini packs a dual-camera setup: a 13-MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash, and another 2-MP camera for depth sensing. There's also a 5-MP front-facing camera with its own LED flash. Connectivity-wise, it features LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, FM Radio, and dual-SIM support. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. A 2,800 mAh battery will keep its lights on.

Meanwhile, ZTE Blade V8 Lite shares the screen and storage options of the V8 Mini. However, ticking inside it is an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 and there is no dual-camera setup, which was replaced by an 8-MP primary camera with auto-focus and LED flash. The 5-MP front-facing camera also loses the LED flash. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat and a 2,500 mAh battery will keep its lights on.
